We like to consider ourselves, as much as possible, an eco-friendly company. We try to eliminate paper waste whenever possible. We actively recycle and encourage our clients to do the same with their packaging waste. So when we found this scary fact from October’s issue of Real Simple Magazine (a great source for good stuff by the way) we knew we had to pass it on to you. They quoted that nationally, we could avoid 6,250 TONS of landfill waste if only HALF of the kids in America traded Halloween costumes instead of buying new ones. That’s a whole lot of tons! October 8th is National Costume Swap Day and we encourage you to do just that! Ask your friends if they will participate (and possibly trade) or check out greenhalloween.org/costumeswap for more details!
