Why Do My Kitchen Appliances Keep Tripping My Breaker?

In a lot of older homes, the kitchens only had one circuit that ran to the breaker. Though many older homes have been updated to include an additional one, many others still have not. This is most likely the cause of a breaker tripping when more than one appliance is running. The easiest solution for this problem is to make sure that two items aren’t plugged into the same socket or different socket on the same circuit. In laymans terms—plug the item in somewhere else. If this isn’t an option, you may need to hire an electrician to run a new circuit back to the breaker panel—this is not a DIY job!
