Modern Espresso Bathroom Vanities

Double Sink Vanities

Modern style lovers are no strangers to the Espresso stain. Deep, dark, sleek, and modern, the Espresso finish has been gracing modern furniture pieces since “modern” became en vogue. It’s no surprise then, that the latest streamlined contemporary additions to our manufacturers lines are appearing in this finish. New favorites are being seen in the wall mount variety, freestanding pieces with open shelving at their bottoms, as well as the basic freestanding furniture pieces.

The Espresso finish is great for a variety of reasons. Some Espressos are so dark that they almost appear black in some lighting, but are in all actuality a deep brown. This unique hue allows for some flexibility in choosing colors to accent the piece. To that end, though, most, if not all, muted colors compliment this contemporary finish. Darker hues are not recommended as with these the cabinetry lost against the wall, but choosing pastel versions of darker hues is totally acceptable.

Chrome or brushed nickel hardware finishes usually set off these types of bathroom vanities.  Countertops are mainly white or cream marble, tempered glass, or travertine, though there are occasionally some other variations to accent the Espresso finish. Additionally, there are even some pieces that are available without countertops so as to allow for the consumer to further customize their bathroom remodel.
