Bored with your old nightlight? Fresh Home magazine had a great idea for a new twist on an old favorite. Take either rope lights, lighting strips, or LED ribbon lights and affix them behind your headboard and under your sideboard edges. (You can get these at your local home improvement store.) This idea works beautifully on simply styled and modern headboards, but feel free to give it your own twist! In addition, a soft white generally goes best with most décor. Additionally, if you’d like to cut out the nightlight in your bathroom, try the same type of lighting underneath the edge of your countertop of your double or single bathroom vanity and around the bottom as well!
