With Spring upon us, many of us are ready to give different parts of our homes mini-facelifts. Since all out remodels are often not an option we thought we’d compile a list of some easy and inexpensive upgrades you can make to your bathroom to breath a fresh life into your space!

– Add a glass tile backsplash to sink and vanity area. If you’re unable to do the whole area, try just focusing around the mirror.

– Increase décor with artwork, make your own or search for deals at your local flea market.

– Give your walls a splash of color with a fresh coat of paint or go big with wallpaper. Consider large scenic designs for a unique change and big impact.

– If space is an issue, consider adding some storage; squeeze a vertical unit in between the vanity and toilet or adding shelving on free walls.

– Change out old light fixtures, with so many designs to choose from you’ll be able to find inexpensive styles that are easy to install.

– For an elegant upgrade install wainscoting, paint with stark white or a contrasting color.

– Change out your old shower curtain to something more exciting and grab a few plush colored towels to match.

– Consider a bath mat near the toilet and shower area; find something colorful to add some spunk.

– Frame out your vanity mirror with real wood. This will create a nice focal point.

– Add more accessories; if your bathroom lacks style consider changing out towel bars, soap dishes or shelves.
