Bathroom Spring Cleaning Tips: Rock Star Products

bathroom spring cleaning

This past week saw the conclusion of our most recent contest. (And if you didn’t enter this one, don’t worry! There will be more! Just follow us on Facebook to follow our updates!) Since we are always hungry for our readers opinions–and it is the Spring Cleaning time of year–we asked you what your favorite bathroom cleaning products and/or tools were. Additionally, we surveyed our team to find out what their favorite products were as well. We knew we would get at least a couple “gems” that could make all of our lives a little easier! And, guess what…we did!

The brand that got the most votes for bathroom beautification was Clorox. Between the Disinfecting Cleaning Spray, the toilet wand, and the toilet cling gel–Clorox was obviously the most trusted line of products! Our team and clients noted that the cleaning spray had a way of cutting through mildew and soap scum with an ease that was unmatched. Additionally, many people noted that the toilet wand with replaceable refills was a thing of genius! One of our team members even commented that they are easy enough for husbands and/or kids to use! (Though we will place no guarantees on that one happening!)

The most interesting entry came from Linda, who pointed out that too many people overlook cleaning your toilet lid hinges. She recommends a toothbrush to clean these areas and we think a bleach cleaning spray would be the perfect match to clean those hard to reach, probably germ infested areas.

Another good one came from Susan, who recommended purchasing a squeegee to keep your shower doors sparkling and streak free. We like it!

The winner of our contest, Tiffany, also named a popular favorite–possibly not for Spring Deep Cleaning but for maintenance to make your spring cleaning easier. Her pick was the Swiffer Wet Jet. And indeed, we agree! Using this product regularly on your bathroom floors much them easier to clean when you go to really scrub them!

Runners up went to X-14 Mildew Spray and good ol’ fashioned Comet Cleanser and Soft Scrub.

Were your favorites on this list? If not, which ones would you add?
