This honey hued onyx sink provides a bright, eye catching element for your bathroom. This would look great in a room decorated with bright primary or spring colors, but would also go well with earth tones.
Material: Onyx is a calcareous stone, formed by dissolving limestone and redeposited as a new kind of stone. It is a natural stone that has a translucent quality like glass but has the color and veining like travertine, and can be back lit to give a very interesting effect. Onyx is soft and brittle, and can be easily scratched or chipped. Onyx is a beautifully unique stone, but great care must be taken to maintain it. It must be wiped dry routinely to prevent etching, and should be sealed at least every 3-6 months using an Onyx sealer.
Finish: As hand crafted works of art created from glass, stone, copper, or ceramic, each vessel sink will have its own unique finish and may not be exactly as shown in the photos. Actual color may vary slightly due to different computer monitor display settings. UniqueVanities.com cannot guarantee that finishes between manufacturers will match.

Q: I don't know if and how a vessel sink "closes" to hold water - does it?
A: It depends on the drain. If you get a grid drain the water does not hold. Grid drains are the ones with holes on the top and the water just drains through. Pop up drains will hold the water.
